TREVOR'S STORY

Trevor "Trecal" Barroso

Trevor Michael Barroso was born at Mount Diablo Hospital in Concord, California, to Brad and Judy Barroso, and from the start, his life was filled with promise and potential. As a student at De La Salle High School, Trevor excelled not only in academics but also on the court, showcasing his passion for basketball and lacrosse. His athletic prowess was matched by his academic achievements, culminating in a degree in Business Marketing from Sonoma State University.

Trevor's love for sports was contagious, and his "Steph Curry-like" three-point shot made him a standout on the court. Off the court, he was a devoted fan of the Warriors, Niners, and Duke University. His zest for life extended beyond sports; he cherished moments spent hiking, biking, and surrounded by animals, who adored him just as much as he loved them.

Though his life was cut short by a severe asthma attack on March 26, 2018, Trevor's legacy endures. He passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018 at the age of 26, surrounded by loved ones. His generous spirit lives on through his organ donations, inspiring countless others to follow in his footsteps. Trevor is survived by his fiancé Melyssa Fields, his parents Brad and Judy, his brothers Bradley, Matthew (Lindsey), and Taylor (Mackenzie), and his grandparents Jim and Carol Barroso and Art and June Taylor, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His memory is a testament to the impact one life can have on so many others, and his story continues to inspire hope and generosity in all who knew him.
